I agree with you whole-heartedly on this...When those Abstergo jokers busted up the assassin tea party wielding Marching batons I about pissed my pants with laughter...I mean seriously its the 21st century pick up a pistol already. I would like to see firearms but the bad guys are going to have to be horrible, horrible shots...we're talkin like the bad guys in Rambo horrible. It was a bad move on Ubisoft...but maybe they're midset is like "Well the Templars are just keeping up with the traditions of their forefathers" blah blah blah...I'm sure that Vidics minions were all "why do I have this retarded stick when we are one of the most powerful forces in the world!?....hell even the Reno Sheriffs department gets sidearms!!" Anyway...bring guns into the mix Ubisoft, but do it right.
