Does nobody realize that we still know fuck all about the first civilization yet? All we know is that Adam was the first relative human made through the first civilizations' DNA and Human DNA, and Eve (or Eva) came a little later and inspired revolution among humans to fight the gods. We still don't know all the tricks and plans Juno has once she gains her body, nor do we understand the widescale of the Pieces of eden and what they do together.

My hope is that the next one, you actually get to play as Adam, and learn about the beginning of all this, from the start of assassins and templars, to why and how the humans revolted in the first place. Since Desmonds' blood has the ability to go that far back, I don't see why this would be that difficult.

P.S. -If I absolutely have to say a different era also, I'd say go after the medeval times with Robin Hood or the Jazz era with MLK and Alcatraz. Just some ideas.
