I'd really like for them to get away from the late 1600s onwards for now. I'd like to see more around the 1000s. Although the question is what do they replace the guns with? As they have become an important part of the gameplay style....I'm guessing hand crossbows? I have no solid ideas to be honest, just please let's back down from the Americas and western Europe's empires and influence (which is oddly difficult I know)
