1. Exploring the map of course! I can't wait to freerun across all those beautiful islands, not to mention the cities. Underwater gameplay also looks like it could be fun :) Also, a pirate's gotta get himself some loot, right?

2. Renaissance, but I wouldn't be surprised if most people picked this. It's an awesome time period and it featured in three games, giving it an easy headstart on the other eras.

QOTW: I don't know, I'm sort of iffy on how the characters are going to be portrayed. Mostly, I hope the side characters won't be there as decoration for Edward. Also, female characters! I hope Darby has written enough of them in there. As for improvements, I hope freerunning will be smoother than it was in AC3 (it always felt a bit off and not quite as fun as previous installments).
