Both consoles have their pros and cons. PS3 uses blu-ray and has slightly (not much at all) better graphics, but Xbox 360 has better online services. And personally, I think the Xbox controllers feel nicer. Although I'm an Xbox-user, I think PS3 has the best single player conditions, while the Xbox is better for MP. However, there really aren't any major differences, so whatever you choose will be great :) And also, look at the exclusive titles for both consoles. PS3 has Uncharted, Killzone, inFamous, God of war etc. while Xbox has Halo, Gears of war, Fable etc.
