And actually, Reptilians also suffer from harsh conditions like radio-activity. Their eggs become softer and therefore very brittle and the embryo becomes disfigured and malformed. This happened to the Dinosaurs frequently in the Cretaceous Period mostly. But they are suited for dry places and scorching heat and so will not suffer from that kind of thing. Also they can always dig underground and stay there until the holocaust is over.
