"I've got a theorie on why people dislike AC3 so much. It was a big jump we were all so used to Ezio, then a big jump to New York and Bostan with Muskets and what not."

That's not the problem. Not at all. I didn't find a single problem with that and unlike others I loved that setting. Its just the game I find fault with. For a game with so much hype, it didn't deliver. And FYI on my first playthrough of AC3, when I got to young Connor, I only used muskets. Then it got tiresome and I wanted to try out new things instead of just grabbing someone's musket and shooting and repeating. I still do it though, depending on my mood. I think prior to getting a hidden blade my preferred weapon according to my stats was musket or fists. Fists usually. My tactic when meeting a patrol in the woods was to strangle as many as possible and if spotted, punch all the rest in a matter of seconds and then grab a musket and finish them all while they were rolling on the floor. This process becomes pointless when you get your hidden blades.
