In the beginning I was very interested in the Assassin Connor. But the setting didn't really interest me. And when more of Connor was revealed, he seemed rather plain. Nothing to do with him being a native American. I think that probably was the best approach for an Assassin in the revolutionary war as he creates a fine balance between the Colonists and the Loyalists. But yeah I thought his personality was a bit of a letdown. Now with Edward I think judging by what they say he's like, he sounds more interesting from first impression, plus I do prefer the setting. I like the lush environment. Only drag is no Desmond. I understand why he had to go, but with him gone, we've lost something vital to the series and I don't know if some Abstergo employee can make up for it.
