1) Meh - the setting is cool but I have a lot of fears about this game that Ubi won't learn from their mistakes in Unity. I also would have prefered an Asian setting but the Victorian Times seem good too. I just hope there is a good past AND present day story this time.
2)Any setting set in Asia. It would really be a good change to see the new landscapes and new gameplay mechanics they can offer, especially with Martial Arts.
3) I don't have any idea about this. Could be good, could be bad.
4)I think Ubi should delay the next game at all costs if it's unfinished. Unity had good things too but there were more bad stuff IMO. The atmosphere and architecture of Paris is awesome and even if it has some flaws the gameplay is fun and challenging (blackbox missions were great). Co-op is also a great addition. But the story was really dull and short, it didn't feel like an epic journey (it wasn't), Arno didn't go through any change during the campaign, the Templar targets were all evil antagonists, you couldn't possibly have any sympathy for any of them and all you did in the game was killing them without caring about the story much because it didn't matter a lot. The French Revolution was under-utilized. We didn't understand when it started or if it ended. I guess Arno and the french assassins could have been more involved with it because they also lived in that country. But Arno only cared about Elise. We didn't interact much with any of the side characters expect Elise. We didn't even have a story mission where Arno had to save Elise or Pierre Bellec or someone else from a guillotine execution and we didn't even participate in some events where the crowd rushed in some places and we could have been within them. It's AC3 all over again with too many missed opportunities. I hope Travis Stout won't write any AC games again. That's why I have fears for the next game. I fear that Ubi will promise a lot of things and won't deliver on them. Though all the hate on Unity surely made them a bit more careful about their next game. I also wanted to use Galina Voranina or Gavin Banks in the present day. I really don't like the idea of being the player myself so we could just do nothing for the whole game. Sorry for the long post but I really think it's not going anywhere really bright. I hope they learn from Unity and take their time to do the best game they can because Ubisoft did really good games and they can do it again.
5) I hope Ubisoft Quebec settles the problems of Unity. I'm excited to see what they have to offer.
Question: Awesome games are coming out next year. Can't wait for Batman Arkham Knight, Uncharted 4 and Star Wars Battlefront! (I have been waiting for this game for 10 years, I hope they don't screw it up).
