And QOTW: it's hard to say which was better out of the new combat or the naval battles. They're both excellent.

But Desmond's story and the very slow start... They really put me off playing through the game a second time. If you're talking about gameplay features, probably the joinable clubs. They'd promised many clubs for several aspects, but all I found were the Frontiersmen and one person come up to me to invite me to the hunting club. Of course, I couldn't find where exactly the hunting lodge was.
