Well I would argue that AC is not exactly at its peak at the moment, so I genuinely believe that if they screw it up the same way they did with Unity there will be a large backlash.

By the way, I'm basing most of my knowledge on the opinions of wiki & forum users (the core fanbase), as they are the people that support the franchise the most. I know for a fact that most of them weren't happy with Unity & are considering abandoning the franchise, so it's pretty dire at the moment.
