You are seeing the light clearly. The TRUTH is found not only in the full sequence 18 video of Adam and Eve escaping.... the full truth is equally found in the various glyph puzzles, pictures, and files that when solved yield pieces of that sequence 18 video. File 18 for example does show that humans have brain neurons that respond to the pieces of eden, engineered to be an obedient labor force for their creators. Another file illustrates cross-breeding between god and man, with gods taking form of animals and mating with humans (which is in reality very prevalent in Greek and Roman myths). God and man mate and Behold the Assassins! Of course also Cain and Templars resulted from similar activity. Therefore, the difference in brain neurons and the resistance to the pieces of eden by Altair, Ezio, Desmond, and some Templars, come from being HALF-MAN, HALF-GOD: decendents of both humans and Those Who Came Before. Adam and Eve are not implied as god descendents with resistance like this; it is because they tasted of and posess the forbidden fruit, the Apple of Eden, that they are IN control instead of UNDER control of it. Adam & Eve escaping means no more dumb but peaceful slavery like in Eden, a war eventually ensues between gods and those humans who wised up with an apple. In Summary, all humans are descendents of Adam & Eve and some of those humans knocked boots with descendents of Minverva/gods, giving them resistance to the controlling objects and the superhuman abilities of the mythic heroes, Altair, Ezio, etc. The Templars want to return to Eden's dumb but peaceful times by getting the pieces and keeping order just like Those Who Came Before.
