I believe that Adam and Eve where the first to be created by "those who came before" and that is why they have the "jump suits" and the free running. I also believe that the templars are decendens of Cain, Adam and Eve's son, because I remember that in one of the sequences that says "behold the mark of Cain" a templar cross was on top of each picture and on each picture you see two men fighting for the Piece of Eden. One of them or all of them, Cain was in the picture.
