Here's my say,

DC = Too many characters, I mean seriously, I'm like, oh its Superman, Supergirl, Aquaman, Batman and Canary, and.... who the freak are you?

Marvel = Many characters but they are extremely memorable, and they aren't all flying caped rejects. Oh hey Spiderman, Hulk, Captain Britain, Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider, Mr.Fantastic, all the various spidergirls, Wolverine, Dr.Strange. Oh and I know your name too!

Though you have to keep in mind that Teen Titans is an exception in every case.
