Wow this is long. Actually not everyone in Capadocia was killed. Besides I don't give a rat's ass about that goddamn Templar layer. As I have said before, I like Altair better than Ezio in terms of intelligence and skill (and not being a pervert) but in terms of personality I pick Ezio. I don't know why Desmond has so much hate, he didn't really do anything yet and he is a noob unlike Ezio.
