You need to remember that AC3 is supposed to end Desmond's story, so there is a limited amount of things they can do (unless they make modern sequences much more frequent, like in the first). That said, I would like to see Vidic and Daniel Cross making an appearence, as well as the Abstergo recruits sent after William in the multiplayer. At the same time, despite the idea of AC3 being the last "Desmond one" I would'nt be suprised to see them do another one with him in if it was making them enough money. I would generally love to see a modern AC3, but they would have to be very careful not to make it a shooter, and I don't expect it to involve Desmond at all.
