My advice to anyone getting any collectors stuff (whether in the past or the future) is to maintain them, store them safely (or at least in a place that won't cause to much wear and tear). I say this because a friend of mine sold his Vash the Stampede statuette for over 400euro and he originally purchased it for £18.

EDIT: I'm surprised you are getting AC3 on multiple systems. It seems like waste of money (no offence meant) and if you held off on some of the items for a while you may be able to pick them up far cheaper.
