who says that this templar game is using the animus and genetic memories, from the options given above it looks like they are playing in the present (launch the apocalypse, maybe refering to the eye abstergo launch?), so you would not be confined to a specific path, in fact i would prefer if the proposed templar game has a different play style to the current assassins creed games, brings somthing new and emphasises that templars do things differently to the assassins.
