It's obviously mayans or some other meso american group, In Revelations, during one of the missions when ezio's talking to the red headed lady (forgot her name) they talk about the new world (the americas) that the spanish discovered. the whole 2012 thing revolves around the Mayans. the mesoamerican setting is the best option, ezios daughter or even his sister goes to the new world and gets it on with a native american and boom, years latter the son is taught by grandpa/uncle ezio how to be an assassin (conqustadors are obviously the templars) then after some stuff happens the new assassin brings the apple to north america, where he starts a family with native americans like the apache or navajo, then in part 4 the game can take place during the revolution, templars(posing as confederates) attack desmonds native american ancestors tribe looking for the apple and desmond retraces his ancestors steppes to find the apple, now currently in north america, and save the day.

also think about it an aztec ancestor = jaguar warrior, JAGUAR WARRIOR = BEST ASSASSIN OUTFIT EVER!

( i don't really pay attention in these games so i THINK it's the apples they need, correct me if im wrong.)
