If this isn't done right it will prove that the entire core story was retconned around AC: B (in my view). I'm genuinely afraid that they are going to mess the series up by not explaining this correctly, by contradicting previously established facts (see previous comments below) shown in the rifts/encyclopedia. This will either be epic or subpar depending on the storyline.
