I think it'd be cool if Desmond could teach the other Assassins the 'old ways' of using Leaps of Faith or whatnot. It seems that the Assassins have sort of died down in skill, if Lucy couldn't perform a Leap of Faith like Desmond did, and it could be a 'reawakening' of the Assassin order if Desmond became a link between the old strength of the Order and the new thinking of today.
