what if by some mysterius circumstance the sword is actually the one that is a piece of eden and thats how he was immune to Al-Mualims attempts with the apple, notice he only succeded in incapacitating Altair when he was given the Syrian sword even though Al-Mualim said that he had been using it since the first time Altair saw it to no effect?
