I'm sitting up unable to sleep as usual, and I've watched the reveal trailer a couple of times now. I'm wondering why Ezio would have randomly seen Altair like that. It's not like he's used an animus, so it's not the bleeding effect. It's just dawned on me though that maybe it was eagle sense, and that this was a demonstration of it's power. According to the Game Informer article, Eagle Sense is the evolution of Eagle Vision due to an older and wiser Ezio, and allows him to see where people have been or will go. I'm thinking maybe the trailer was foreshadowing Ezios' discovery of having this heightened ability, having seen where Altair had been. Or maybe he already knew he had the ability, and was looked shocked because he discovered that not only does it allow him to see where living people have been, put possibly also where those who have died have been. Or maybe it's just where his ancestors have been? I don't know. What do you guys think?
