Yep, the guards were harder, the fighting was hard to master and there was a thrilling, badass feeling once killing 10 or so high-ranking Crusader. Whether in AC: B the fighting was so easy I mastered it before Sequence 2 and there was no thrill. And the kick to the stomach was a plain and simple bad move. Also Altair's moves were brutal and awesome. Seriously. Break a soldiers leg and leave him for dead or kill him right there and then. With Ezio I feel his fighting is not brutal at all and he is afraid to stain his rodes with blood.
