Al Mualim joined with the Templars some time prior to 1189 I believe, Ahmet joined the Templar Order in 1509 and was killed in 1512 while having no direct relationship to any Assassin, Daniel Cross was not really a Templar in his own conviction as he joined the Assassins by himself, and Lucy also had been a Templar for a few years. Clay knew about her Templar affiliations quickly enough, but did not have the means to do anything about her.

And the revolutionaries help Connor in his fight with the Templars. I doubt they would order him to kill their own allies, unless they will go all Al Mualim on Connor. Also keep in mind that the game ends in 1783 and George Washington dies in 1799. It would be bad for them to reveal George Washington as a Templar while not providing closure by killing him like Altaïr faced Al Mualim.
