It would be cool if, as Desmond, you gain access to guns of different kinds instead of swords of different kinds. Like, instead of a hidden blade, a handgun with a silencer, so you can assassinate from a distance as well. Also, I don't think they're about to remove the Animus completely. In terms of what time Desmond might visit next, I'd like to see him go into even more modern times than the Renaiisance. It almost seems like a pattern, since Renaissance obviously came after Crusades, so then after Renaissance we could have maybe Revolutionary War, Cold War, WWI or WWII, something like that. Personally, my head's still spinning from the revelations of ACII. To quote Shaun: "What. The. Fuck?"
