actually it will probably be neither seeing as Desmond's only reasons for going back into the animus would be to learn new moves because as i recall the world is going to end according to the game at December 7 2012 and seeing as its almost the end of September he will probably be in the modern world unless ubisoft can make a really good reason for not being in the future
