Yes, the Templars exist under alot of other names (8 secret societies we believe) and some still claim to be Templar in secret circles although it's talk of this is taboo since their disbandment...... @Sacred L1nk9..... Clearly you have fallen for the myth, and it changes slightly through the years...... Around 20 years ago, the myth went that the assassins were paid for their crimes with hash and that's how they got their name, nowadays they smoke it freely and in another 20 years it will change again....... I don't need to explain to you about the Muslim culture where it is in fact a sin to take drugs or consume alcohol, I have also smoked cannabis enough times to know that there's not a chance in hell you could carry out the discipline under the influence of it........ I'm also guessing you live in either England, America or Western Europe where Christianity is the most prominent religion, and of course they favored 'their' soldiers, the Templars. Their heralds would make up stories calling them every derogatory term under the sun including hashashin....... Just go anywhere in the eastern civilisation and you'll find it completely different to the beliefs of this western civilisation...... Essentially, Religion has defined countries in more ways than anyone really knows...........
