Yea, I am lucky..... Like you say, everything has always been very well-documented including victims, reasons and losses in the process, and more importantly, protected from fires and such.... The only problem is that I can't read half of them because I don't speak Arabic so I just pick out odd words and names........ I also have portraits and sketches of family members in all their gear right back to the 1400's that were kept in a codex that's passed through the family and added to each generation...... It's just a pity I don't have any from earlier than that......
