Holy freakin geek fest man.  When every TV and radio station advertises this game as being the greatest thing ever, sometimes marketing works and people buy things.  I never saw a commercial that said "this game is GREAT, but only if you've played EVERY OTHER MISSION in the franchises history."  Sorry folks, but if you can't buy it and play it without subcontext the game makers are at fault here, not the gamers.
