It was not my intention to say that Altair and Ezio did not have any moral compass but with Connor I actually felt like he was ahead of his time in thinking that African-Americans had the same rights as the Spanish, Italians, and Caucasians. (Ex: his talk with Achilles about what is true in 1773) Now, I'm sure that if Altair and Ezio were dropped in 18th Century America they would feel the same way but, for me at least, Connor's thoughts on the matters of racial equality, slavery, and honesty drove home why he is such a compelling character for his time period; just as Altair and Ezio were for theirs.
