With his name meaning Man of the World, I feel Connor's love interest will probably be of mixed ancestry. Desmond is mixed with a lot of things; he's not colorless. He has a moderate tan; he was noticeably brown in the first 2 games. Where could he get that coloration from if he were to come from mainly European ancestry? Someone other than Connor and his mother is a non-European ethnicity.

Slate, what do you mean by more 'American'? You mean Caucasian American, African American, Asian American....? Anyone can be American; just adopt the culture.
