Bear in mind that you must not immediately believe everything someone says. While Patrice might have no reason to make this up, he may just as well or he may have exaggerated. If someone's statements are not backed up by others or by facts, then it still remains to be disputed.

I'm not saying that Patrice is a liar, but it's what being a journalism student has taught me.
