The poll is not only for the setting of a single game...it's for the direction in which you want AC to explore next...modern times(or any other for that matter) can be explored through medias other than the game. As you said, one of the favorite aspects of the game is the historical setting, it would be an absolutely waste to dedicate a whole game only to modern times. For games, there always should be a historical setting . I vote First Civilisation/Modern times for next "project" but Feudal Japan for next game.
