Hitler was a Templar puppet, not an actual Templar. He killed his double inside the bunker and was then killed himself by an unknown Assassin when he left the Führerbunker.
Though a lot of developers have expressed a disinterest for World War II since it's already been done by so many games, so don't expect it to happen. It's already had a lot of focus in side activities (Glyphs, Rifts, Abstergo hacks) likely so that they can explore the setting without needing to make a full game about it.
