The first hidden blade was used on King Xerxes I of Persia. But the beginnings of humanity would shows us the origins of the Assassins and Templars, and would also explain more about the war between the humans and First Civilization. There doesn't necessarily have to be a hidden blade, even though it's iconic to the series. Though this poll doesn't just apply to games, but all media in general.
