So? Just play them. ( ._.) I'll even help you, just use the cheats and you don't even need to play it like a strategy game, you can learn your history without having to worry about getting defeated by the CPU.

And true enough AoE 1 & 2 are really really hard to play(even though the missions are really creative, I mean seriously, AoE 2 went into a lot of detail in terms of mission structure) but AoE 3 is da bomb. Not only is it engaging but the graphics are good and the gameplay is satisfying. And if you want more magical and all-mightiness then play Age Of Mythology. You will learn a lot of Greek, Egyptian and Norse mythology while having an engaging story and sweet god powers.
