Actually I'm not like the others. I actually argued the same way you do now about AC taking a modern route with shooting, but later figured that it was stupid to do so, especially after the disappointing modern day missions in AC3. Also after playing so much AC. I must've accumulated about 400 hours of total AC time this year and I'm not even sure of that since my AC3 time is actually doubled since I played all of it twice this year, with all the mucking about and side missions included.

There are just some things in AC you just can't put into a proper modern setting. Some core features of AC that have remained in EVERY single game NEED a historic stetting.
