If Ubisoft were to continue with the naval warfare a bit but make it vastly different, they could always go to the Viking era. The basics of naval combat would be different in terms of weaponry and that but i could see it working. Would also open up another period of history which has been altered in perception by western culture and such similar to how pirates were. Also the weapons would be awesome !!!
