Thank you for this Sima, I hope it does clear some of the confusion that so many have. I have to say though, it would be better for the series if they implemented more Templars that could be viewed as "morally good". But, I guess it all falls down to plot. If the narrative of the series revolved around the Templars' point of view, the general consensus would back the Templars instead of the Assassins.
