This is directed to anon: You act like the rule of the Templars and the rules they put in place would actually be so perfect.
If you just disagree with some or one of them, you get executed. It is fake peace, it's a mask of the truth. Not everybody will have the same effects from the PoE, all of those who the PoE did not effect enough get executed or dumped.
Do you really want to live in a place, where you cant express...anything?
And Aeg, I know that the mind altering is the effect they are going for, I just elaborated on the amplifier and it's effect.
