So. There's French mixed with the British accents. It doesn't sound all that weird, so consider that a problem scratched off my list. Is it just me, or does that other Assassin sound like Blackbeard by the way? He doesn't seem to like Arno much (I thought I heard him mention Altaïr, though pronounced in an English fashion). The "powerful message" thing seems like foreshadowing; it made me think of Charlotte de Corday's public assassination of Marat.

I am liking the blackbox mission idea; I imagine I'll be replaying those to hear every tidbit of information. There do seem to be a few graphical and parkour glitches though (also, that smokebomb kill was a tad ridiculous - how the guards didn't immediately attack Arno, I'll never know), hopefully most of those will be ironed out by release.

I'm still undecided on this new "flashback mechanic"; it certainly lacks the iconicity of the memory corridor scenes. Ah well.
