What if Aveline is the ancestor of one of the other subjects? Not Desmond or S12, but the first thought I had when reading these was Subject 9 - the female who was pregnant. I don't know, but I think it would be very interesting (and most-likely a given anyways) if the modern-day character is a female too, and they never said that she died, only that she was "disposed of" (or something like that).
