It's kind of obvious they have to side with the Americans when it comes to marketing. Imagine the rage this game would get from one of the most powerful nations on Earth if they show Americans being killed in a video game.

The only thing that pisses me off is how in that awful "The White Knight Rises" trailer and all the other stuff, they constantly go on about how Amercans are slaves and shit and how they want freedom... despite the fact they themselves owned slaves...

Idiotic marketing is one thing, ignoring history to make the Americans look awesome and perfect... No.
