Even so, there's no need for him to pounce on people. It would be more complicated and it'd take more time for him to stab them.

I was a little harsh there, but only because I don't want to see Assassin's Creed become Uncharted. From what I've heard, it's basically just cinematics with a few sections of gameplay. Assassin's Creed doesn't deserve that.
