I honestly think AC is not the best those years had to offer, honestly no AC game is perfect, ACII is a 8 from me and that is the highest I gave a AC game.

If I may, I will give my opinion on what you presented.

Revelations does not disappoint-For me, and alot of others, it did big time.

Game play mechanics that satisfy-Yet incredibly shallow and simple. I wish free running required more than holding down two buttons.

Appealing aesthetic-Yep.

Combat system-Way too easy. And really a 1 button combat system /:

Story-100% agree. The story is probably one of AC's best elements.

Dont get me wrong, I love AC, but I wont call it the best those years or gen has to offer.
