Same here, kinda like how they let us customize both robe and cape colors. It would be even more awesome if your flag color/insignia affected allegiances (such was common during those times). For example you could wave a pirate's flag and get attacked by everyone, or use British colors as camouflage. Back then, the first thing captains would spot was the flag.
