I think the next AC would be an Asian setting (I hope for feudal Japan). Then AC VI would be a European/American setting.

As for what I would like to see as an AC? Well, I already made a blog post about that a couple of days ago here. French Revolution. Yeah, it's been gone over many times, but still.
