I wouldn't even have any assassinations take place, I'd rather show the event in the way the Boston Tea Party or Boston Massacre was shown: as an important historical event. Considering that the Wounded Knee Massacre is one of the most infamous events in the history of the American West, and this IS about the Dakota War, that merits its conclusion.
