The biggest concern with assassin creed games is historical significance. Brunei is basically insignificant in anything very historical from the looks of things. From the looks of it, it never had any real influence over anything other then the island it was on. All of the locations so far have been at areas where influence is either vastly strong or at the beginning stages in the case of AC3. Although if you look at AC3 in the opposite way, Britain was the major power at the time and was defeated.
